Jeff student suspected of pulling a knife on another student

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Lafayette police arrested a 17-year-old boy at Jefferson High School Friday afternoon when he pulled a knife on another student, police said.

The 17-year-old got into an argument with another student about 1 p.m. Friday. He pulled a knife and threatened the other student, who took off running, police said.

No one was injured, police said.

Police arrested the 17-year-old boy on suspicion of intimidation with a deadly weapon and possession of a knife on school property.
